Making Art into Rugs at Scattered Kind
The Premiere rug tufting experience brand, Scattered Kind, invited Mickey to try out a new medium of art– Rugs! There were the results.
VITAL Manhatten
As an avid rockclimber, Mickey was eccstatic to have the opportunity to put his newest series, “Faces of Doubt” up for display the Vital Manhatten Gym. “Faces of Doubt” is an externalization of the “ugly” things we say to ourselves in our weaker moments. It is easier to work through outside criticism than the self-deprication that comes from in your own head.
Bird in Hand Tavern
Mickey currently has 10 original pieces up at Bird in Hand Tavern on 146 & Broadway. It is an ever-evolving gallery: when one piece sells another takes its place.
Van Der Plas Gallery
Mickey had his NYC gallery debut on the same stomping grounds as some of his heroes.
Milk& Hops Pop-Up
Milk&Hops craft beer bar reached out to Mickey to participate in an artist pop-up. Beer flowed and art was sold.
ART SHOW @ MIKA
Mickey had his first NYC solo show at MIKA in Bushwick. Featuring 40+ original works, from sculpture, to canvas, to digital, Mickey officially stamped his work into the NYC art scene.
The Darling Collection
Mickey is hopping from canvas and releasing his first collection of 1 of 1, hand painted, wearable artworks. If you love art, custom clothing is a durable, wearable, sharable investment. And just like that, you don’t just own the art, but you ARE the art!
Drink up NYC
Evil Twin Brewing chose Mickey to work on their artist series IPA. The beer is called “Nose Goes” (and no it’s not a gose) it’s a clean light IPA that you don’t want to miss!
Bengals Superbowl LVI
No better place for Mickey’s piece, ‘Bengals,’ to live than in the home of a Bengal himself!
